Why is my diesel truck in derate or limp mode?
Derate is the engine computer protecting the engine or emissions system. Common causes are DPF restriction or failed regenerations, NOx sensor or DEF dosing faults, poor-quality DEF, boost or turbo problems and overheating. We read the fault data with factory-level scan tools, find the root cause and repair it so the derate does not come back.
Can you fix a diesel that failed its Clean Truck Check?
Yes. We are an official CARB Clean Truck Check (HD I/M) test station and a repair shop. We diagnose and repair the faults that most often cause failures — DPF problems, NOx sensor and SCR/DEF faults, exhaust leaks, high opacity, check-engine lights and derates — and test the truck in the same shop.
How much does diesel truck repair cost in Oxnard?
